Sustainability
At SKEN Studios, we try to do what we can for the planet. The Silver and Gold we use is made from recycled materials, which have been melted down and repurposed. Our jewellery is both made by hand in our Manchester studio, or cast locally, then finished by hand in our studio.
We use predominantly paper packaging, which we encourage you to reuse or recycle.
Packaging
Printed materials
Made from 100% recycled, uncoated card. Can be fully recycled.
Boxes, envelopes & tape
Made from 100% recycled paper and card. We use paper tape for all of our packaging. These can be all be fully recycled.
Shredded paper packaging
We shred all of our office waste and re-use it directly as padding for our jewellery boxes. This is combined with recycled shredded paper from an external supplier (the pink stuff). So your packaging is not only super cute, but kind to the planet.
Ring boxes
The outer cardboard box is made from 40% recycled paper and are fully recycle-able. Unfortunately, the foam insert cannot be recycled.
