Join Sabira, founder of Sken Studios, for an afternoon of ring making to create your own bespoke silver signet ring! You’ll learn the art of wax carving to create a unique, handmade signet ring. After the workshop, your wax ring will be cast in solid recycled silver, polished to perfection, then posted directly to you.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
Unleash your creativity in our Signet ring masterclass. You will learn how to make a one-off Signet ring made from recycled silver, with the help of experienced jeweller, Sabira.
Sabira will guide you through the process of carving your Signet ring design by hand from jewellers wax. Following an introduction and a demonstration of wax carving techniques, you will learn how to create your chosen signet shape and add intricate detail.
After the class, your wax ring will be cast in Eco silver, polished and posted directly to you in approx four weeks time!
This is a great chance to learn a new skill, meet new people and make a one-off piece of jewellery to be treasured.
Location: First Floor, 34 Wynnstay Road, Sale, M33 7DW
The workshop space is in the centre of Sale, South Manchester, only a 5 minute walk from the tram stop with parking close by. Parking is free on a Sunday.
Good to know
- You have the option on the day of the workshop to upgrade your ring to solid 9ct or 18ct Gold.
This will incur an additional fee, which is calculated after the workshop, based on the weight of your wax ring.
- Your ring can be polished to a mirror finish or a satin (matte) finish.
Cancellation Policy
If you can’t attend, tell us at least 7 days before the workshop to transfer your booking to another date, free of charge.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop incur a £15 transfer fee. Alternatively, you may also transfer your place to another person at any time - just give us their name to change the booking for free.
